Cleaning your records

Brushes: before every side of every play. This removes surface dust, paper fibres from sleeves and some light ‘gunk’ from the grooves.

Water: over time, if your records start to sound dirty. Batch them up and do them together.

Ultrasonic - the best way to deep clean records, but they're a huge investment. You may be able to negotiate a price per disc rate with a record shop that has one.
